I recently won a Blush Novelties Hop Jessica Rabbit from the lovely Little Switch Bitch so when I found out I was able to review another of the range courtesy of Betty’s Toy Box my inner sex toy nerd starting doing cartwheels. This time it is the Blush Novelties Hop Trix Rabbit Vibrator.
First Impressions & Packaging
My package arrived super quick despite it being shipped from Canada. I have sent and received things from Canada before so I was pleased with the turn around time.
The packaging for the Hop Trix is the same as the Jessica Rabbit, compact, fun and super bright pink. Unless you are completely colour blind there is no way you can miss this thing. I got the Trix in Cerise but it is also available in a lush Midnight blue. I would like to see the blue toys in real life as it seems a pretty awesome colour. There’s always next time!
The front of the box is almost completely see through and the back of the box gives you some key facts about the Trix including:

My first thought is that the Trix seems a little on the small side when in fact it is only 1 inch shorter than the Jessica Rabbit. Surprising though it has a longer bigger insertable length of 4.25 inches.

Charging
The Trix is rechargeable and is charged with a USB compatible magnetic cable. The cable attaches to the back of the base of the rabbit on the white plastic cover. The attachment though is tiny! If you charge it on a flat surface it doesn’t lose its connection however if it is knocked (or you do a big sneeze near it) then it comes loose very easily.
Use
The silicone on the Hop range is awesome. It is unbelievably soft so whilst I like to use a water based lube I don’t need much as there is very little drag. It has a very slight tapered/rounded end which helps with inserting the shaft. The Trix has a circumference of 3.75 inches and in all honestly I miss a bit of girth! I do like the extra inches of insertable length this has though. The arm on the Trix starts a lot further down the shaft so you have more room to play with.
The Trix is easy to control with a ‘+’ and ‘-‘ button built into the silicone shaft. Pressing and holding the ‘+’ switches on the dual motors. Quick pressing either button allows your to cycle through the 3 speeds and 4 vibration patterns. Pressing and holding the ‘-‘ switches the rabbit off. Simples!
It packs a punch too with some deep rumbley vibrations but unfortunately it also comes with some noise. If you a wanting a sneaky quickie without your flat mates hearing then you probably want to switch some music on as it isn’t exactly quiet. It can be forgiven a little though as the vibrations feel extremely good. The vibrations can be felt along the full length of the shaft, nice and deep which is delicious.
The best part of the Blush Novelties Hop Trix is the arm. The arm is just under 2 inches long and sits very close to the shaft. It has some flex though so it fits the curve of my body really well and keeps in contact with the top of my labia and my entire clitoris. I prefer a broader stimulation so the kind of stimulation I get from the Trix’s arm is perfect for me.
I hate rabbits that are straight and rigid but thankfully the curves and flexibility of the Trix means I can thrust with it as much as I want without bashing my cervix into submission. The slight lack of girth meant that it took me slightly longer to orgasm but reached an incredibly strong blended orgasm regardless.
Stop, showertime!
The Hop Trix claims to be waterproof so can be enjoyed in the bath or shower. I don’t use toys in the shower often as my legs become useless when I orgasm so I don’t like to run the risk of falling out of the bath (explain that to the paramedic) however in the spirit of a fair review I did take it into the shower with me. The vibrations feel really good in the water but the satiny soft silicone did slip and slide in my hand a little which was frustrating but I didn’t experience any loss of function.
Conclusion
The Blush Novelties Hop Trix Rabbit Vibrator didn’t let me down. The vibrations are strong and whilst lacking some girth in my opinion, it did benefit from the extra insertable length.
I just want to get my mitts on the Lola Bunny and Cottontail now!
